Secure Haven Funeral Directors works closely with Old Park Meadow Natural Burial Ground in Dunmow, Chelmsford and GreenAcres Epping Forest, to provide a service within the beautiful surroundings of natural burial grounds.
Old Park Meadow Lodge is a stunning wood and glass building, purposefully designed to hold funeral services and to allow families to honour the life of their loved one. Old Park Meadow located on 34 acres of former farmland has a landscape which now consists of a variety of grasses, trees and wildflowers that offer the perfect setting for a natural burial.
GreenAres Epping Forest provides a tranquil and beautiful environment, set amidst acres of glorious woodland, this landscape will be sustained, enhanced and preserved for future generations. The service halls have a unique ambience; a perfect combination of music and lighting, surrounded by a beautiful natural environment. This special place can be uplifting, even at a time of great sadness.
A doctor’s fee of £82 is not included and will be applied, if necessary.
If you choose this package, please be aware that it does not include burial plot fees, interment fees or Service Room fee.
Please inform us if your loved one is heavier than 17 stone or over 6’6″ in height as we will need to provide extra staff for safe and dignified transfer into our care. An additional fee of £390 will be applied for a specially-ordered coffin and additional bearing staff.
Payment terms – We require a 50% deposit on arrangement, with the balance of payment within a minimum of 2 working days prior to the funeral service.
